IIT Bombay-Washington University in St. Louis Executive MBA program offers an academically comprehensive and rigorous Executive MBA program. The curriculum combines management practice, business fundamentals, and forward-looking strategies. The goal is to help you become a more competent, confident, and intuitive decision maker and problem solver.
The duration of the program is 18 months. Courses are held four days per month, from Thursday morning through Sunday evening. Participants will complete approximately 17 courses in Mumbai. Participants will also spend two weeks at Washington University in St. Louis completing additional coursework and visiting American companies (subject to the participant being granted a U.S. visa). The curriculum addresses, business fundamentals, leadership, strategic management themes, growth, and innovation. The program includes real-time applications you use to enhance your personal and professional development and to drive results for your organization.
Courses will include assignments such as case analysis summaries, brief papers on specific topics relevant to the course, and more significant term papers. Student evaluation is based on individual and team performance. Participation in class discussions is also an element of individual student evaluation by faculty. At the team level, assignments include projects, simulations, and in-class presentations. Because a significant amount of learning happens in class, attendance is an essential part of the program.
Any matter or dispute pertaining to the Executive MBA program will be handled through an established process with the ultimate responsibility of the EMBA Program residing at the Director, IIT Bombay and the Chancellor, Washington University. Their decision shall be final. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai (India)

The Executive MBA program offered jointly with IIT Bombay closely matches the content and structure of Washington University’s internationally recognized sister programs in the U.S. and China. In fact, courses are taught by many of the same faculty members.
Courses are held four days per month, from Thursday morning through Sunday evening, at the state-of-the-art classroom in Mumbai. EMBA students need more than 600 contact hours to graduate. Classes are taught in English and include local management perspectives from SJMSOM faculty members. The final two program modules are taught at Olin Business School’s Charles F. Knight Executive Education & Conference Center on the Washington University campus in St. Louis.
You graduate from the program with a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from IIT Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis.
